Transition Year Mentor Training Day, Thurs 12th May in Larch Hill.
This is a training day for mentor who have applied to participate in our Primary School Programme (yes, we work with primary schools too!).
It will include a combination of outdoor challenges and team-based activities with leadership training and preparation for working with young children from primary schools. Teams will have the opportunity to participate in exciting activities such as orienteering, pioneering, cooking for themselves on open fires and climbing.
The day will end with a ‘glamping’ (glamour camping) experience in a real high-top circus tent where dinner will be served and acts from the programme’s Music Week will be given an opportunity to perform.
