The National Digital Strategy is a government initiative which aims to get more people using the internet and making better use of digital technology. This applies to many areas of life in Ireland from agriculture to medicine and from socialising and community to education.
There is more information about the strategy on the NDS website.
As part of this campaign, a series of videos were produced to highlight the postive role technology is playing in peoples lives today and to show how some of the tools we might be using to work and learn in the near future. Several of the videos focus on education and one of them is about Bridge21.
The video below features interviews with two Bridge21 students, Thomas Maguire and Emmet Farrell from Drimnagh Castle CBS, and our own Kevin Sullivan. We’re delighted to be part of this initiative as we have seen the potential benefits that technology, when used well, can have for learning and teaching.
