Scratch for Teachers

We are running a 1-day Scratch workshop for teachers. Scratch is a software application for beginners interested in computer programming. Students can quickly learn the skills required to create simple animations and games you can really play! It is a powerful learning tool and has applications across many STEM subjects.

The 1-day workshop will introduce teachers to the Scratch programming language & sample learning activities for the classroom. They will also gain experience of working in a collaborative learning environment with teachers from other Bridge21 schools.

Date:          Monday 25th February

Time:          9.30am to 3.00pm.

Location:   Bridge21, Oriel House, TCD

Cost:           Free of charge for Bridge21 network schools.

Who should attend: Ideally suited to Science, Maths or IT teachers but it is open to anyone that is interested.

If you are interested in taking part, or for more information, please contact Ciarán at or 01-896 1397.

Places will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Please sign up by Friday 8th February.

    Hello Bridge 21,

I hope you are all well. A colleague of mine, Aine Nerney would be very interested in attending your 1 day workshop on SCRATCH on Monday 25th Februray 2014.

Could you please let me know if there are places still available for this workshop?

    Kind regards,
